Sarah Vander Wal In January 2006, I joined the Sleep Research Project as the participant coordinator. While my background is not in sleep research, I have found it to be an interesting and rewarding field. I graduated from the University of Alabama in May 2004 with a Bachelor of Music in cello performance. In addition to my full-time job with the Sleep Research Project, I also perform around town and with various symphonies throughout the southeast. My husband and I live in Tuscaloosa with our son, Peter.
